- Welcome to our student lounge where you can get news about my lessons, group classes and workshops. At my studio in Woodstock, NY, I coach a select number of students, performers and bands. With my students who are aspiring toward professional careers, I share my years of experience in the music business worlds of New York, LA and the UK. I've played or toured with dozens of major acts including the Rolling Stones, Beach Boys, Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan and many others. My weekly songwriters workshop is called the Fast Track for Songwriters. The workshops are very playful – like brain and voice workouts for a songwriter's spontaneity, imagination and flexibility. Fast Track is for anyone looking to quickly learn the secrets of memorable songwriting through weekly workouts. If you're not a student yet, and you want to be, your first step is to email me. I teach dedicated beginners, young and old. My student roster is currently limited to 15 students per week, but there are usually a few slots open for new students.
